Guest Speaker - Col Billy Pope, HAF/CX

Col Billy E. Pope, Jr., is the Director of the Headquarters Air Force Executive Action Group supporting the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. In this role, he helps the Department of the Air Force’s most senior leaders develop and articulate their strategic aperture. He leads a team comprised ofstrategists, writers, and public affairs specialists hand-picked from the Air andSpace Forces to produce clear, effective, and influential guidance internal and external to the Department.

Prior to this assignment, Col Pope served as the Commander of the 81st Training Wing at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. He led training formore than 54,000 Airmen and Guardians across 38 specialties to become warriors with the technical skills they need to defend our nation. Additionally, Col Pope operated and safeguarded Keesler’s installation and airfield supporting 20 C-130J Super Hercules aircraft and the Department of War's sole aerial weather reconnaissance mission.
